That's because it's very difficult to check every single link in the website, to see if it works correctly. Doing so will take a lot of time and seems like impossible. But there is a solution to this and that's the program Web Link Validator. As the name states, it's a software that can easily check and validate all the links of a website in no time. Thus, you will be able to determine where exactly the linking problem is and you will be also able to see what type of linking problem you are dealing with.

Web Link Validator installs in a blink of an eye and runs without problems on most versions of Windows, ranging from XP to Windows 7. It takes up around 4 MB of hard disk space and it's friendly with the system resources.

The interface features the well known top menu, but also a graphical toolbar containing buttons for accessing most of the program's functions. For the program to start doing its job, the user first has to add the link to the website that he wants to have its links verified. After completing this step, Web Link Validator will start checking each of the site's links and will display in real time the status of every link. At the end of the scanning process, Web Link Validator will display a list containing the status of every link. To better distinguish valid links from broken one, the first ones will have a green color, while the bad links will be colored in red.

A report containing all the scanned links can be created, either as a HTML or XLS file. Web Link Validator can be configured to bypass scripts during the scanning process or to ignore all the images from a website. This will improve the speed of the scan. A scan task can be saved as a file, to be reused later.
